Hey, I'm Kwanza Jones and I've got a question for you:

José and I are partners in business and life, who make it our mission to positively impact others and the world we live in. That's why I created SUPERCHARGED® by Kwanza Jones, a media company and community that creates impact through empowerment.

Shortly after, José and I created our philanthropic and investment organization, Kwanza Jones & José E. Feliciano SUPERCHARGED® Initiative. Together, we've invested over $100 million dollars in both nonprofits and for-profit ventures that make an impact across four key priorities: Education, Entrepreneurship, Equity, & Empowerment.

Our investments in others go beyond the money. We give a boost of access, knowledge, and connections to make a positive social impact on humanity.

The Executive Assistant will be a highly organized and focused self-starter who’s able to coordinate and prioritize with little supervision. You’ll have a chance to be the Alfred to our Batwoman, enabling her to work most optimally each day by being efficient and effective yourself.

You have a keen eye for detail and know your way around google suites, specifically with managing a calendar. You have superior coordinating skills and enjoy scheduling and prioritizing a high volume calendar. You’re not easily flustered, especially when plans change or priorities shift.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain and coordinate scheduling for relevant meetings, events, appointments, speaking engagements, travel arrangements etc...
  • Email management, including flagging essential messages for review
  • Work closely with the CEO to keep her informed of upcoming commitments and follow up as necessary
  • Uphold a high level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Administrative assistant tasks as needed. No task is too small
  • Adapt and solve any conflicts or blockers quickly and effectively and remain highly responsive and communicative
  • Collaborate across multiple departments to ensure the most consistent scheduling arrangements and to relay to relevant parties
  • You’ll preferably have experience with automations/workflows and assist with Airtable, Slack and Teamwork

The Content Manager will be a passionate storyteller who excels at creating compelling content. You’ll be comfortable managing a talented team of vendors as well as producing your own content.

You’ll have proven experience across multiple platforms and content types and collaborate effectively with internal teams as well as external partners. You’ll work closely with the marketing team to build energy igniting, sensory exciting visual and written content.
What You'll Do

  • Oversee all content across digital marketing mediums from ideation to publication
  • Compile creative concepts for use both internally and externally
  • Plan and execute content for various social media and other channels
  • Produce content strategy that aligns with our brand vision and goals
  • Work with external vendors to produce high quality, captivating content that’s apt and on brand
  • Source and manage freelance content creators as needed to produce content for blogs, social media, web pages and more
  • Serve as editor for all content to ensure quality, content clarity, and consistency. You’ll write, edit, and touch up all content as needed
  • Keep a finger on the pulse of industry trends and audience interests
  • Collaborate with Design, Video, and other internal teams to uncover stories and leverage each piece of content for maximum impact
  • Ensure content is distributed across all owned channels appropriately
  • Refresh and repurpose content regularly to maximum resources and storytelling potential
  • Ensure SEO best-practices are adhered to on every piece of written content published
  • Oversee analytics and reporting by tracking weekly and monthly KPIs for audience growth, engagement efforts and more

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Writing, Communications or similar, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years experience in content creation required
  • 2+ years of content management experience preferred
  • Excellent at improving and creating content creation workflows and managing a busy calendar for multiple brands
  • Can manage competing priorities and deadlines by skillfully working with and managing an external team of freelancers
  • Consistently maintains the highest standards in all things and strives to raise the bar
  • Superb written and verbal communication and an ability to present ideas clearly, concisely and with context
  • Confidence in your work and ability to remain organized while managing multiple projects from end to end
